About InteScene

Last updated: 14 June 2026

InteScene is an all-in-one production management platform for film and television. It unifies screenwriting, AI script breakdowns, scheduling, budgeting, call sheets, storyboarding, casting, locations, and crew management in a single connected workspace, so a detail entered once flows automatically to every department.

What we built

Most productions run on a stack of disconnected tools: a screenwriting app, a stripboard scheduler, a budgeting package, a casting sheet, a transport spreadsheet, and a folder of call sheets that all fall out of step the moment one of them changes. InteScene replaces that stack with one workspace built on a single shared dataset, from the first draft to the final wrap report.

Because every tool reads and writes the same project, a prop, an actor, or a location exists as one record that drives the breakdown, the schedule, the budget, the call sheets, and every report. Change the script or the schedule and the downstream paperwork updates itself, with no re-keying and no stale spreadsheets.

Who it is for

InteScene is built for productions of every size, from indie filmmakers shooting micro-budget shorts to production companies and studios running multi-season series. It adapts to screenwriters, producers, line producers, directors, assistant directors, production coordinators, and the departments around them.

How we think about AI

InteScene threads purpose-built AI through the whole production lifecycle: it reads a script to break it down, summarises scenes, suggests shots, generates storyboard frames, proposes an optimised shooting order, vets the script for legal, cost, and sensitivity risk, and helps track continuity. The AI does the slow, repetitive prep work, but it is optional and always keeps a human in the loop. Nothing is applied automatically, and you always have the final say.

Why we built it

InteScene is made by filmmakers, for filmmakers. It was built by a filmmaker who needed a better way to run their own indie productions, replacing a dozen disconnected tools and constant re-typing with one connected workspace. Those films got made, and InteScene grew out of the system that made them.

The aim is the real democratisation of film: taking the professional tools and connected workflows that used to belong to big-budget productions and putting them in everyone's hands, from a solo director shooting their first short to a studio running a multi-season series. The craft is the same at every scale, and the tools should be too.
